‘Spend 1 da1s the way a billion spend a lifetime’
Slum Survivor is a brilliant way for students to engage with social issues such as world poverty and human trafficking. Coupled with a Christian understanding of suffering and God’s heart for justice, students will be challenged and provoked to make a difference in their world.
Slum Survivor is completely adaptable. It can be run for half a day or it can be run for a number of days as part of a fundraiser. Students will build a slum, participate in various challenges found in the third world today and have a chance to engage with why this happens and even why Christians believe a loving God can allow these things.
