This is an exciting opportunity for Year 2 children to discover the Christmas story. Pupils will have the chance to open 6 exciting boxes and think about the characters in the Christmas story. As they unpack the box, children will have the opportunity to think about questions such as:
“What is this?”
“Why is it in the box?”
“What can it tell us?”
There are reflective crafts/activities as optional extras, and links to watch Mary and Joseph, the shepherds and the wise men.
Each session requires two lessons of 45 minutes. This session would take up a morning or an afternoon. The resources are provided by us.
